I've not been well, it's been nuts, or I've been nuts, or so I thought. I've had weird neurological symptoms and noone could tell me why. I see snow (like tv snow), have double vision, little bit of amnesia, have objects stick in my vision, suffer vertigo and twitching. Had an mri and an eeg, they came out normal and since my previous neuro had heard I was under stress he considered it to be the cause. This I found hard to take as I've been ill 24/7, irrespective of the kind of situation/mood I was in. I've also been to different ophthalmic and orthoptic clinics, thank god they didn't give up on me as they finally sent me to someone who knows what I'm suffering from.

Migraine Trauma/Migraine Aura Status, Migraine had caused injury to my neurons that wont be picked up in a normal mri. I've had migraine since I was a kid and didn't know that this could happen. Most people, most doctors, most neurologists aren't aware that it can. It's quite rare and is because of the nature of the migraines I have had in my life. It's most likely because of genetic neurological weakness combined with environmental factors. It sucks, but at least I know what it is now and know that it will most likely heal with time. I've to avoid migraine triggers in my diet and to take fish oil to help my brain heal.

This is why I've not been terribly prolific. I need to learn to enjoy painting even with this problem. I probably will make a feature of it in some of my artwork, we'll see how it goes.

Wow. At least they and you finally know what it is. Not knowing can be the worst. :hugs:

It is mental though, everything I've ever read about migraine is that it's benign and doesn't do any injury. It's just incredibly rare. It is better knowing. :) Thanks.

I remember you- you drew Caffiene Kath. I always liked that picture. Thank you for adding me to your list. I'm sorry to hear about your migraines. I haven't been updating and putting any work out lately either, due to my seasonal temperment. I've been going to school in Idaho and winter seems to rob me of a lot of my good humor and creativity. I hope you're able to work through your migraines and start enjoying your art again. I'm been channeling everything I have into school, but eventually, I'll start drawing again too. Thanks again. ^__^

Perhaps you did not hear what I just said. I am a centuries old Egyptian pharoah. I was dead, but now I have come back to life!

Hey, you are welcome. Your linework and your collage are wonderful. I get a little seasonally affected too, I know where you are coming from. Thankyou, I'm looking forward to seeing some more of your artwork soon.

I'm really glad you replied. ^__^ I hope I'll have some new artwork soon for you to peruse. And that you will have some too for me to peruse. Actually, I would like any excuse to use the word peruse more often.

Another good word is Apple Butter. Which is really two words, I know, but since you have to put them together in that order to make another word, or at least to describe something, I think it's kinda cool. I also like the word verisimilitude, which isn't used often enough in the English language. Veri-simi-li-tude... you can smell the Latin in it.
