Ok, this was taken a couple of years ago and I always intended on submitting it. The church next to the John Hancock building in Boston was being worked on and there were all these danger signs. It amused me to try and get one in frame with the Hancock building cause I wanted a shot of the landmark but I didn't want it to be just another shot of the building. The signpost marked the time I was there, also I think it marks the bemusement a tourist has when visiting another culture. Weird thing about New England to a Brit is it's somewhat like a bizarro world, so similar to home but yet so different.
Though I found New England rather gorgeous most of the photographs I took were deliberately silly. I dunno, I'm not much of a photographer. I'm silly in life so don't do it justice. Not sure if this belongs in this gallery or would be more suitable as a snapshot but I did try with the compostion and such like.
Oh yeah, be sure to have a shot at my stock ~stockphoties - where most of my photos go cause I'm more an illustrator/designer than a photographer. Photography is expensive!
I never went to New York when I was over but we did plan to, just never got round to it. Will have to see it someday, plus Chicago, cause that's where my grandfather was born.
Chicago is a fun city, but going up in the Sears tower is like $12, and I think that's a little rediculous O.o; Shopping on Michigan Avenue's fun, too...yay shopping?
I did enter, though, and enjoyed the view from the top
